Ankle

Ankle is termed as the region where the foot and the leg meet. This is composed of three bones called  tibia, fibula and talus. Ankle is the joint that allows the up and down movement of the foot. The subtalar situated just below the ankle allows the sidewise movement of the foot. The ankle and subtalar is surrounded by numerous ligaments that binds the bones of leg together and to that with foot. The most common ankle problems are sprain and fracture. Sprain is caused when the ligaments get injured, and when one or more bones of ankle break, it is called an ankle fracture. The other problems affecting the ankle are;
